Back in November, I set up an Amazon associate account. The idea was to set up a page of product recommendations as a convenience to my clients (because it’s hard to find a lot of stuff in Tucumcari) and maybe get a little cut of the action, because I see no reason to provide free marketing services for a multibillion-dollar corporation.

I didn’t make the page live immediately, which was a mistake, because I forgot all about it until Amazon emailed me to tell me I’d be kicked out of the program if I didn’t get three sales by, like, May or something.

If you’re in the market for dog-training tools, the recommendations page is here. Most of the items I listed are things I own and use all the time; the only exceptions are a highly rated silicone treat pouch that I haven’t personally tested (I don’t need a silicone pouch, because I don’t use wet food for rewards) and a two-pack of clickers that look identical to the ones I normally buy in bulk but are made by a different company.

Any money I make from the Amazon program will be used to help offset my expenses and support the pro bono work I do for shelter dogs and their adopters.
